DRUNK AS FUCK FRIDAY’S
Drinking my first *REAL* Irish Coffee at Old Jameson Distillery in Dublin.
I finally made it to the Republic of Ireland in July 2015. It had taken me 4 trips to Europe to get there. Dublin was so much quieter than London itself and it’s a Capital City I wouldn’t mind living and working there.
On my last day in Dublin I did a Hop on Hop off Bus tour of Dublin. Instead of going into the Guinness Factory, I decided I would pay a visit to the Old Jamison Distillery located off Smithfield Square.
This is the original location where Old Jamison Whisky was made until 1971. After 1971 its operations were moved to Midleton near Cork.
I am a fan of Alcohol, but I’m really that keen to go pay about 20-40 Euros/Pounds for a tour of a factory either still in operation (like the Guinness Factory) or unused.
Instead of going on a tour of an old Distillery I decided I would pay around 7 Euros for an Irish Coffee made with the finest Jameson Old Whisky. This was the first time I had ever tried a proper IRISH COFFEE. When I was 25 I used to go home from work and put Kahlua in my coffee while listening to Scorpions Records. But it wasn’t a true Irish Coffee.
A Jamison Irish Coffee made me feel like my head had been blown off. As I did end up chocking and coughing a bit. I was like: WOW THIS COFFEE IS SO DAMN AMAZING!
