Go to Ghana
Go to Lebanon
Travel from Cairo to Cape Town
Live in Sweden
Finish off my map of Europe
Have a no holes bared sex with a MILF
Go to North Korea
Go to Latin America
I am pleased to say that a few of these things were done. I couldn't really get Cairo to Cape Town happening or trips to Ghana, North Korea and Lebanon. But I did a few things on the list and I felt like I really did achieve allot more in 2018 than I did in 2017.
1) I moved to Sweden
After a dramatic turn of events in London which saw me getting over worked in my stupid London job, I gave the middle finger to London and pissed off for 8 long weeks.
I had been living in London since June 2017, changing hostels every 2 weeks, spending a few days each month away from the UK. I fell out with the rental game in London as I was screwed over by an Immigrant Prick from Spain @ Oneroom.co.uk
After 12 months in 12 hostels, a full time job and only 2 weeks off work (not counting the 7 short trips between Dec17-May 18). I was really starting to pull my hair out. Having to work 24 hours within 2 days goes against the Australian working standards I was brough up on.
I come from a country where you got to have 12 hours off work between shifts, 2 days off a week.
I was pissed off with my job because there were so many dumbshit signing up for the job, but they turned out to be really shit, or they just ran away from the job. I remember there was this one Indian Muslim who could only work in the afternoon because of Ramandam.
If I was a Muslim, I would man the fuck up and eat allot of food before sunrise so in that way, I could easly work from 7am till 1pm.
When I found out how cheap rent was in Stockholm. I booked a months stay in this house in Farsta. I was to stay in Stockholm for all of July and if no work came my way, I would return to the UK
I returned to Stockholm on the 29th of June 2018. It was 18 months away from Sweden. To be able to fly into Stockholm Airport travel to Fasta and move into a house on the same day was just mind blowing
I lived in this house for 33 days. I was hoping for big things in Sweden, but it was too hard to get a fucking personal number without a job. The Swedes like to discriminate against foreigners by not giving them numbers so they can't open up bank account or get free stuff.
I just don't get how the Swedes can come to my country and pick up NHS and NI numbers in an instance. I guess to stay in Sweden you need to be working and have a contarct for a year.
Even though I didn't venture outside of Stockholm, those 33 days in Sweden really did help me recover from the bullshit of London. It felt so weird to live in a house after 50 weeks in London hostels, It was so strange to live near a lake and a forrest.
I am kinda sad that I didn't stick on in Sweden, but I had to return to London 8 weeks later and work on things. I will move back to Sweden (or Iceland, Denmark, Norway) once I am done with 100 countries and once I have saved up some moolah
I did allot of amazing stuff in Stockholm. I visited a Synaogogue (despite dealing with a prick Zionist guard), I toured the royal tombs in Haga Park, I went to the Anglican Church, I ate allot of Cinnamon Scrolls, I walked 18km from my house to the DPR Korean embassy and I learnt some Swedish
2)I wasn't unemployed
Despite the fact that i was away from the UK for 2 months, I basically had a job to come back to in August.
I worked pretty hard to go overseas nearly every month. I only had 1 weekend off work before I moved to Sweden and I've been able to half 1/2 a weekend off work since I came back.
I've kept the same job since June 2017 and I'm not going to throw in the towel on it on London untill I want to relocate to Scandanavia.
3) I finished off my map of Europe
I wanted to visit every country in Europe. I always worried that I'd have no where to go once I finish off this map. in 2018 i went to Norway, Vatican, Belarus, Iceland, Bonsia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Greeece, Moldova and Portgual
Now that I am done with Europe, I don't really have much of a wish to go revisit some countries in Europe. If I had a few spare days I would revisit Copenhagen, Slovenia and Iceland. I would love to visit some big war cemeteries in Italy.
4) I spent zero days in Australia for the 2nd calander year in a row!
For the 2nd continus year in a row, Overland Metalhead didn't set foot in Australia. I stayed well away from Asia (or the Equator)! I may have missed out on allot of Funerals in Sydney or some concerts. But the longer I stay away from Australia, the harder it is for those Imperlaist Border Force fuckwits to try and catch me.
I've been away from OZ for over 34 months now.
5) I met Necrobutcher.
After an awe inspiring trip to Oslo, a visit to Deads grave in the South of Stockholm. I went out of my way to meet Necrobutcher. This man is a true inspiration to me. He enjoys listening to rad stuff like THE CULT, INXS, BEASTIE BOYS, hes badmouthed Sam Dunn in a documentory, He pissed off Bob Larson and he's been the main member of Mayhem sinces its birth in 1984.
When I was to go troll Kylie fans in my Meme, I always make sure I take a page from Necrobutcher book
6) I didn't pay for sex for 6 months.
I've never written much about this online. I have had my fair shares of stories about visiting Beverly the granny Escort in kent, Banging pornstars in Aston Birmingham and using tax payers money in Australia and Britian to pay for sex.
When I lived in Australia, I told myself that if I was to ever relocate to England, I wouldn't pay for sex that much. Since I moved here in 2015, I'm proud to say that I only did it like 5 times in 2016, 5 times in 2017 and up to June 2018 I had done it 8 times this year.
Since I moved to Sweden It did set me on the straight and narrow not to do this stuff. Its been 6 long months since I last paid for sex in London, I can't say when I will do it again or what city in the UK. Hell its been over 12 months since I last went to a gang bang/Swingers party
7)I saw allot of bands
When I say bands, I don't mean dinosaurs of Rock or big arena bands thats charge 2 legs.
I saw plenty of local bands: Tokyo Taboo, Hands off Gretel, Haxaan, Love Zombies, Neuronspoiler, JoanovArc, Flowerpot, Dorja
I saw some big names like: Foreigner, Anvil, Raven, Diamondhead
There were allot of bigger bands that I have passed up on, mainly because I had seen them in a previous life in Australia.
8) I went to the top of the world, flew across the Atlanic, got to Latin America
When I reached Reyjajvik on the last day of April, it was the most northern point I had been in the world
When I flew from Birmingham to Mexico, I had basically flown past all times zones and crosssed all lattitudes on earth
When I went from Cancun to Central America, I had returned to North America/The Americas for the first time in 8 years.
9) I made my 70th and 80th nation in one year
So I hit up Albania in June during my overland Journey through the Balkans. It was funny how I made 50 nations in 2016 and 60 nations in 2017.
When I made Costa Rica my 80th Nation in December 2018. I knew it was a milestone.
10) I only spent 4 days in Birmingham.
I had wasted allot of months and days living in Birmingham in the last few years. But to only go to Birmingham 4 days in a 365 day makes me very proud to have turned a huge corner in my life.
I don't dislike Birmingham, but I hate every fucking xenophonic prick in that city who never gave me the chance to work there.
The only thing I'd go back to Birmingham for is when I want to see all my old church friends in Quinton Parish church. When I left Birmingham at the end of May 2017, I never went to any other church in London
11) I watched the world cup in 8 different countries
UK, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Macedonia and Sweden. I watched world cup games in 8 different nations.
I was glad that my shithole country of birth crashed out in the 1st round. But to cheer for Sweden who put goals behinds Mexico, Germany, Korea Republic and Switzerland made me feel proud.
If only the Swedes had found the back of the net in the QTR final. I was living in Stockholm at the time.
