We all know that Joan was the better Actress and Jackie was the better Author, but in mysterious ways they are the top Sisters who left England and make their mark abroad.
After all it was Jackie who wrote “The Stud” and Joan who was the main character in the film adaptation.
When I was getting with women aged 56, 58, 63 and 66 in Sydney and Kent. Allot of these women looked great for that age as they told me they are winning the battle of old age. Just like what Jackie did. But me being a guy who at 29 travelled to Kent to get with a lady aged 65 made my friends make this statement at gigs
“ONLY 65 AND OVER IS REAL”. So if your my age and your dating a woman who is 65 and over then its REAL
When I found out Joan Collins was going to smash a champagne bottle on a cruise ship in Paris. I thought about going over to Paris for the ceremony.
But then when I realised that Dame Joan would be attending the film premier in London. I just thought it would be much cheaper to go to London instead of Paris.
The film premier was set for Wednesday the 8th of March 2017 at 5.30pm. I had arrived back in London the day before hand after my weekend trip to Guernsey.
Around 5.30pm the stars started arriving. First out of the car was Italian actor Franco Nero. Allot of you people may know him fro : Djano Unchain, Car 2, Camelot and Day of the Owl
Meeting Joan was better than the time I kissed Dannii Minogue or the time I shook hands with Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart. This was all on “International Women’s Day”. So it was very fitting to meet Joan Collins.
I may have never got to meet Jackie or see Motorhead and David Bowie live. But I don’t regret that. As today we are living in this present moment. So don’t feel bad about not meeting/seeing someone live or hopeful that you will meet them one day in the future.
If you live in a country like UK and you want to met someone famous. You need to put some effort into it. Even if it means leaving your home town for a week or spending ½ a day in Mayfair. You do what you put in and get out in return.
