Its like with Belize. You may think the Capital is Belize City where all the tourist's are, but its actually a small town of Belmopan and its the 10th smallest capital city in the world.
So far I have been to 33 nations and I have missed out on a few capitals
Ottawa, Canada: I didn’t have any interest in seeing Ottawa in 2010. I was too busy chasing Carol Cox in Montreal and going up the CN tower in Toronto
Madrid Spain: I was tight for my time in June 2011 as I had to get a cheap flight from Barcelona to Malaga just to visit Gibraltar
Rabat,Morocco: I hated Tangier with a passion and if I continued onto Rabat the same bullshit from Tangier would follow me. You know: FAUX GUIDES, TOUTS
Berlin, Germany: Its on the other side of Germany once known as East Germany. Train tickets are so damn expensive for travel within Germany. I once paid 140 euros for a train ride from Frankfurt to Hamburg
Abu Dhabii , UAE: My first visit to UAE I just stayed at Sharjah Airport, my 2nd visit I kept myself on the Metros of Dubai. Abu Dahbi is the big hub for Etihad Abu Dahbi is probably like Canberra: Parliament, Museums, Embassies
Capitals that I wish i saw more of
Ankara Turkey: I took a bus from Istanbul to Ankara. I got to Ankara at 3am in the morning and my train to Tehran left at 10am that day. I did go for a walk around but i got a bit lost as I couldn’t find my way to visit Ataturk Mausoleum.
Prague, Czech Republic: I only had 3 hours in Prague before I had to get on a bus to Budapest. But at least i saw the main square.
Bratslava, Slovakia. I just traveled through Slovakia and didn’t see one flag but I set foot in Slovakia and that counts. But i didnt see anything interesting on the bus window
Bucharest Romania. I was there for 24 hours but i couldnt find the things i wanted. That's why you always have to have a guidebook with you.
