Day 9 Challenge: Imagine you are on a long holiday in Portugal
Ok stop right there Natalie! I have never been to Portugal in my life, I do want to go someday but It’s hard for me to picture visiting Lisbon as the only thing I know about the city is this memorial to all the Portuguese who died fighting in Africa during the 60’s and 70’s.
So let's think about a city that I have visited so many times, I know where all the sights are and I know it all In my head: LONDON
Now allot of you people have notice in the last few years that I have had a huge resentment for London. Reason being too many expats go over to live there, they spend a fuckload of money on rent and costs and they never really stay there for good.
Plus they have a habit of talking shit about other cities in England like: Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, and Sheffield
I have recently grown to like London. On my last day in the UK I spent all of that day just walking around central London carrying my backpack. When I left London I told myself that If I ever went back I would reside in a London HOSTEL for a whole month.
So let’s say In November I am going to move back to the UK and work in London for a month. I will do my best to source out the best room to rent in the whole of greater London.
I have just spent the last 2 months living in a dormitory bedroom with 7 other people in a bedroom. This is a home and not a hostel. So I don’t really want to have 30 days in a Hostel. So I just hope to find myself a bedsit or box room wherever the hell it may be.
Once I have an address in London I can tell my BANK where I live, I can claim unemployment benefits and I can put my new address on my resume.
So with a resume in hand I plan to apply for any jobs that are to do with Food Running in London and once I get the job I will just work full time.
So it means I have like a 35-40 hour working week. I would spend most of my morning doing shopping before work and then after work it maybe darkness over London I would go out and see some nightlife.
All 3 concerts I have been to in London were held on a Tuesday and Thursday night. So I would do my best not to work these nights as I would preferred to work weekends.
Every day in my London life. I will always do some long walk to keep me fit. If it’s a walk all over Hyde Park or following the Thames in Central London, I’ll walk until my feet get sore
In case I get tired of London prices. I can always take a bus to Birmingham and do my shopping there. You can grab a bargain at the markets near the Bullring Mall
I do want to one day buy a property overseas. I will have one somewhere in the UK and then one in a less developed country like Armenia. I think in my opinion that I will be buying an Armenian house way before I get a British house,
